Global Concertos Concerts

B’shnorkestra returns this fall with two shows featuring the Global Concertos project and more.

There will be a limited edition, pre-release CD of the premiere performance of Global Concertos for sale at these concerts. This recording was recorded by Tom Fallat and Paurl Walsh, mixed by Evan Schiller and mastered by Ed Brooks.

Global Concertos is five new compositions, each showcasing a guest soloist’s instrument and tradition: Thione Diop – West African talking drum, Christos Govetas – Greek clarinet, Srivani Jade – North Indian vocals, Julio Jauregui – Latin American piano and Thomas Marriott – American jazz trumpet. In Global Concertos each artist brings their individual voice to the B’shnorkestra to create a new “all world” sound.
